Details:The Northeast Kentucky Regional Health Information Organization (NeKY RHIO) was incorporated as a not-for profit in December 2008 to support adoption of electronic medical records (EMRs) by healthcare providers and to develop a secure, interoperable regional network for health information and exchange. The RHIO is a partner in the HealthBridge Tri-State Regional Extension Center, serving 17 counties under subcontract with the Office of the National Coordinator, U.S. Health and Human Services. Representation on the RHIO Board of Directors includes a broad cross section of medical and community leaders. See Website for additional information www.nekyrhio.org . We’re looking for an administrative/marketing specialist to assist us in building a long-term sustainable technology business that will help small primary care physician practices adopt electronic health records and other technologies to achieve meaningful use of health data. You will work side-by-side with the team building the Northeast Kentucky Regional Health Information Organization, gaining valuable experience doing direct mail Web marketing campaigns; researching the marketplace, contacting prospective clients, developing marketing and training materials,tracking and reporting client projects, and maintaining the Web site and other Web communications.  You’ll also be expected to: Perform administrative and office support activities for the staff. Assist with communicating, coordinating, and monitoring collaborative training and marketing events with Tri State REC partners. Plan and participate in client training events Assist and/or lead projects that will deal with all aspects of marketing  NeKY RHIO. Monitor progress of contracted projects and compile report for internal and external reporting. Maintain knowledge of healthcare IT environment (particularly regional extension centers and health information exchanges) with ongoing news and social media monitoring. Partner with team members and vendors to plan specific promotional opportunities and grassroots marketing programs designed to drive increased visibility. Develop and maintain the RHIO Web site. Develop and maintain client databases which will be used for marketing and monitoring purposes. Perform other assigned duties required to support the administrative and marketing needs of the NeKY RHIO.
